Hosting, DNS, and security

This website is served via Cloudflare Pages and Cloudflare DNS. In the process, technical access data such as IP address, timestamp, requested resource, HTTP status, and browser and connection data may be processed.

The purpose is the secure delivery of the website, protection against attacks, stability, and error analysis. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., based in the USA; personal data may therefore be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; Standard Contractual Clauses and a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR are also in place.

When you contact Dargel Solutions by email, the information you provide is processed to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions. Depending on your matter, please use kontakt@dargel-solutions.de, legal@dargel-solutions.de, or support@dargel-solutions.de.

For sending and receiving email for this domain, we use an external email service provider with servers in the USA. Personal data (in particular email addresses and message content) may be transferred to and processed in the USA. The USA is classified as a third country under data protection law where a level of protection fully equivalent to European standards cannot be guaranteed in every case; in particular, access by US authorities cannot be entirely excluded. Transmission and storage are encrypted.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the inquiry relates to pre-contractual or contractual communication, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where data is transferred to the email service provider in the USA, the transfer is based on Art. 49(1) GDPR (necessity for communication initiated by you).

Contact form

The local contact form on this website opens the inquirer's email client and does not transmit any content to a form service provider. Processing by Dargel Solutions only occurs once the prepared email is actually sent.

Postal contact

For postal contact, the c/o address of Online-Impressum is used. Incoming post may be digitized by that service and made available for processing. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; where the communication relates to pre-contractual or contractual matters, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Counting page views, cookies, and newsletters

This website performs a simple reach count: a counter is incremented for each page view. Only aggregated values per page path, per day, and per country of origin are stored. The country is provided at country level by the hosting infrastructure; the IP address itself is neither stored nor turned into an identifier.

No cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your terminal equipment; consent under Section 25 TDDDG is therefore not required. No recognition of individual visitors, no profiling, and no cross-site tracking takes place. We deliberately do not determine "unique visitors" — we only count views. The count runs in our own application on the hosting infrastructure already in use (see "Hosting, DNS and security"); no additional analytics provider is involved. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to establish which content is actually used.

A newsletter form and marketing cookies are still not in use. A cookie banner is not required for the current state of the site. If more extensive analytics, newsletters, payment paths, product logins, or customer systems are activated in the future, this notice will be updated in advance.

AI-assisted content

Texts, images, and product artifacts may be prepared internally with AI assistance. Published content is reviewed by a human. Separate transparency notices are used for external product content wherever required for a given piece of content.

FENNEC page: embedded Bluesky posts

The page /en/fennec/ shows posts from the "fennec-ds.bsky.social" account on the Bluesky platform. These posts are fetched and served through a server operated by this website; your browser never connects to Bluesky, and none of your data is transmitted to Bluesky. The legal basis for this retrieval is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
